ALBERT LEA, January 3, 2012] — The 4th Annual Dancing with the Freeborn County Stars kicks off at 7:00pm, today, January 3, 2012 at the Freeborn County Red Cross office, 1608 West Fountain Street, Albert Lea, MN. This popular fundraiser features dancers who whirl and twirl to gain financial votes from a sellout audience. The dancers will also be judged on technique and showmanship by a panel of judges. The third award will be given to the couple raising the most money, which will be used to support the work of the Freeborn County Red Cross.
This year our dancers are: Melanie Bloom and Rusty Dawkins; Angie and Seth Stadheim; Mary and Nathan Johnson; Mary Nelson and LaMar Staloch; Dr Tom and Linda Lang; Haley Allen and Sergio Chavez; Roxanne Ehrich and Roger Zeman; Kristen Dulas and Bryce Nelson. We have dance coaches, Roberta Grahn and Lynette & Brian Dawley to help the couples master their steps.

The 4th annual Dancing with the Freeborn County Stars event is being co-chaired by Cathy Porter and Steve Bonine. They are working with their committee to support the dancers in fundraising, creating costumes and promoting the event.
