Alden Conger Graduate, Erika Bute, named NSIC Defensive Player of the week for the third time this year

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana’s Erika Bute has been named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this year after helping the Viking volleyball team to a 2-0 record this weekend with wins against Minot State (3-0) and UMary (3-0).

– Led the NSIC with 6.33 digs per set in wins against Minot State and UMary.

– Totaled 38 digs, with 24 coming against Minot State.

– Continues to be the lead for the NSIC in total digs with 381 and digs per set with 5.08.
