December 8th Worth County Crop Pesticide Clinic in Manly

Worth County Extension Education Specialist, Dennis Johnson is inviting all area corn and soybean producers to this years’ annual Corn and Soybean Clinic/Pesticide Recertification meeting that is being held on Friday, December 8th at the Bethel United Methodist Church along Highway 9 at the East Edge Manly at 9:30 A.M. Farmers will have the opportunity to renew their Private Pesticide Applicators License at this meeting. Johnson says that “the two featured speakers for this years’ crop clinic, Dr. Chad Hart, Iowa State University Economics Professor and ISU Extension Weed Management Specialist, Bob Hartzler are two of our most sought after Iowa State University agriculture experts for crop marketing and weed control information”. Angie Rieck-Hinz, Regional Extension Agronomist will lead the Private Farm Pesticide Recertification session to kick-off the meeting with pesticide applicators pre-registrations at around 9 A.M.
