GOOEY BUTTER CAKE

INGREDIENTS:  One 18.25 ounce package yellow cake mix;  1/2 cup butter, melted;  2 eggs;  1 teaspoon vanilla extract;  one 8 ounce package cream cheese;  2 eggs;  1 teaspoon vanilla extract;  4 cups confectioners’ sugar.

DIRECTIONS:  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Mix the cake mix, melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 eggs with a spoon.  Pat the mixture into a 9 by 13 inch pan.  Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla with an electric mixer.  Then, slowly beat in the confectioners’ sugar.  Pour this mixture over the cake layer.  Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.  Let it cool and then enjoy.
