Baseball

Alden Conger/Glenville Emmons 6, WEM 2

 

NRHEG 12, 9th ranked Southland 2

NRHEG’s Sam Olson went all 7, allowing 1 earned run off of 3 hits, struck out 6 and walked 4.  Olson also went 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored, and hit a grand slam, 4RBI’s. Daxter Lee was 2 for 4, 2 runs scored, and 4 stolen bases.  Panthers are now 7-1

USC 8, Medford 5

Rebels were up 8-0 in the 7th, Medford rallied with 5 runs but came up short.  USC is now 6-2 on the season

Zale Bushlack got the win. Aiden Crabtree with the save.

 

Softball

WEM 24, Alden Conger/Glenville Emmons 4

 

USC 2, Southland 1

Brylee Neubauer’s 2-out single in the bottom of the 7th plated, the winning run as USC is now 8-3.   Southland suffers their first loss they fall to 11-1

 

Boys Golf 

The Albert Lea Boys Golf team was in Blaine on Monday at the TPC Twin Cities taking part in a 6 team non-conference match hosted by Spring Lake Park. The Tigers took 4th with a team score of 309. The winning team was Totino Grace who shot 16 under as a team with a score of 272. Following Totino Grace was Spring Lake Park with 286 and Centennial with 306. Contributing to the boys score was Drew Teeter (73), Noah Teeter (77), Tim Chalmers (79) and Ben Rasmussen (80).
