Softball

-NRHEG 24 Hayfield at 11, Panthers with 22 hits in the win, Faith Nielsen went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles 4 runs scored and 5 RBI’s.  Sidney Schultz was 4 for 5 with 3 runs scored.  Panthers are now 4-3

-USC 3  Waterville Elysian Morristown 0  Rebels are now 7-1, Mariah Anderson , 1hitter, 10k’s, Tayler Schroeder 3 for 4

Boys Golf

The Albert Lea Boys Golf team traveled to Maple Plain on Monday to take place in the 2023 Windsong Farms Cup at Windsong Farms Golf Club hosted by Edina High School. Edina was coming in as the defending state champs and took first in the event with a score of 307. Albert Lea finished eighth with a score of 323. Top scorers for Albert Lea were Drew Teeter, who was a co-medalist with a score of 73. Following Drew were Tim Chalmers (81), Ben Rasmussen (84) and Archie Nelson (85). The Tigers next match will take place at Eastwood golf club in Rochester tomorrow as they take on Rochester Century and Mankato West. 

 

Girls Golf

Albert Lea competed in an invite at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville 

Eastview took 1st 321,  Albert Lea 8th  with a 384.  15 teams competed. Whitney Mullenbach with an 82 to lead the Tigers.
