Justin Rygh Wins Boys Varsity Meet at Osage! Justin Rygh wins with a 17:19.4, his Personal Record, edging out senior Owen Almelien from North Butler. It’s Justin’s first big win at a cross country meet, with 14 different schools and 10 teams competing. The Bulldogs finished 4th out of 10, losing only to schools in bigger classes. Knute Rogne also had his Personal Record and placed 7th, with a 18:40.5. The Bulldogs ran really well and with being down 2 of our usual top 7 runners, everyone stepped up and competed well! It is a very fun course to run at, surrounded by nature and a trail into a wooded area.
The girls team all had personal records, with many dropping multiple minutes at a time. Josie Helgeson finished 17th, only 2 places off of being in the top 15 to medal. They had really tough competition with the teams there, but did very well and improved their times and continue to get better!
Congratulations!
Thanks for the update!
Great job!
