• ½ pound bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans baked beans
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup prepared mustard, or to taste


  1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Add the onion and sauté until tender. Drain excess oil, if desired.

  2. Stir in beans, brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard. Cook, stirring occasionally, until bubbly.
