Soil Health Team Winter Workshop
On Thursday Feb. 22nd the Freeborn Area Soil Health Team will be hosting our annual winter workshop at Torey’s in Owatonna! This event is a part of the HWY-14 Soil Health Tour. The Owatonna event will be featuring Carolyn King with Continuum Ag talking about the Carbon Intensity Score and what it can mean for you. Martin Larsen will also be presenting on small grains and the benefits he is seeing from utilizing soil health practices in his operation. Along with a manure panel to finish off the day. The manure panel will discuss applying manure into soil health cropping systems. There will be 2.5 Soil and Water Management CEU credits available for the event.
