3rd seeded Albert Lea jumped out to a 5-0 lead and held on to beat 2nd seeded Jordan in Section 1, 3A semifinal action, 5-3. Jordan left the bases loaded in the 6th, and left the tying runs on the base path in the 7th

Albert Lea will play in the Winner’s Bracket final against top seeded Byron (Beat Austin 6-2) on Saturday at 11am in Red Wing. If the Tigers win they will play for a Section title, on Wednesday June 9th
