WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is delivering the spoils of victories in California’s water wars when he visits that state. Trump travels Wednesday to California’s Central Valley farm hub, a GOP stronghold in the Democratic state. Trump is making good on his pledges as a candidate to ease environmental rules and allow for more water deliveries to California’s wealthy agriculture businesses and water agencies. Conservation groups say they fear the changes will deplete water supplies and speed extinction of endangered native fish. The administration denies that.
