• 1 (ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup drained and chopped dill pickles, divided, plus 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice (from 1 [16 ounce] jar)
  • 1/4 cup seasoned panko (Japanese-style breadcrumbs), toasted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • wavy potato chips (such as Ruffles®), for serving, plus crushed chips for garnish


  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Stir together cream cheese, sour cream, pickle juice, and 1/2 cup of the pickles in a medium bowl until smooth and combined.

    3.Cover and chill dip at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours. Bring to room temperature before serving, about 30 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with panko, dill, crushed potato chips, and remaining 1/4 cup pickles.

  3. Serve with potato chips.
