(From Coach Shawn Riebe) The Albert Lea Girls golf team played a dual against Red Wing at Mississippi National Golf Club. The Tigers won the dual with a score of 357 and Red Wing shot 396. Scoring for the tigers and medalist for the meet Alyssa Jensen led the tigers with an 83, Whitney Mullenbach 87, Addi Herr shot her career best 92, and Jessica Vogt 95. We had our #3 player have to withdraw from Illness.

(From Coach Lenny Diekmann)Alden-Conger Knights participated in a match at Oakview Golf Course in Alden, MN against Madelia. With the temperatures in the upper 70’s and wind blowing in the mid 20’s, it made for better playing conditions then their previous outing. The lady knights held a consistent lead throughout the entire match winning 253 to 265 over Madelia. Emma Kleinschrodt medaled on the day with a 50, recording 2 pars and 1 birdie on her round. Emelia Jacobs tied for second with a 58, recording 2 pars on the round. Ella Riebe placed sixth with a 69. Aubrielle Jacobs placed seventh with a 76. Kayla Halvorsen placed eighth with a 77 and Ava Morrison placed tied for tenth with a 82. Overall the lady knights were happy with their individual and team effort. The lady knights are back in action again on Tuesday 4/18 at Rose Lake Golf Course near Fairmont, MN, against M/T/ML/GHEC and St.Clair-Loyola.
