Albert Lea 4 by 800 team advances to State Meet

Gavin Hanke already qualified for the state meet on Thursday in the 3200m run with a time of 10:05.06 finishing second.

He was joined Saturday by the 4x800m relay team who took 1st place with a time of 8:17.72.  That team is made of Roel Palomo, Pacey Brekke, Luke Wangsness, and Isaiah McGaffey.  Gavin will run on Friday morning at 9 am and the 4x800m relay team will run on Saturday morning at 9 am.

Other highlights…

Jal Thoat finished 7th in the 110H with a time of 17.55

Jal Thoat finished 5th in the 300H with a time of 42.63

Ashton Anderson finished 6th in the 400m with a time of 52.49

Luke Wangsness finished 6th in the 800m with a time of 2:06.66

Logan Strom finished 5th in the Discus with a throw of 134-02
