Albert Lea American Legion Baseball team starts season with a win

The Albert Lea American Legion Baseball team downed Stewartville Monday night 7 to 3 at Hayek Field. Blake Ulve was the winning pitcher, and Ulve also hit his first homer of the year. Albert Lea will face off against Byron tonight at Hayek Field at 6:30. Albert Lea beat Byron in the Section 1 3A Championship in high school ball to get to the state tournament
