Albert Lea Girls Golf takes 3rd place at Lake City Invite

The Albert Lea girls golf team played in the Lake City Invite today.   The Tigers took 3rd place medals today with a score of 347.  Edina won the tourney with 330 and Lake City was 2nd with 338.  Alyssa Jensen was the 3rd place finisher overall shooting a 77 and Whitney Mullenbach was 6th with an 85.  Also scoring for the Tigers were Addi Herr with 91 and Ashlyn Berven with a 94.  This was a great showing for our 2nd golf meet of the season at a course we have never seen.   The conditions were very difficult as well.  We saw rain, sleet, snow, and sun with temps never over 40 degrees.   I was proud of the girls for fighting through that and scoring today.
