MSHSL cancels remainder of Albert Lea boys’ basketball season

Friday morning, the MSHSL made the decision to cancel all boys’ basketball section and state tournament games, as well as the girls’ basketball state tournament which was already underway in Minneapolis in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. As a result, there will be no Albert Lea boys’ basketball game against Austin Friday night for the Section 1AAA title, and the Albert Lea boys’ basketball season is over. The Tigers finish the year with a record of 13-13.
