Four people were injured in a shooting Monday night during a gathering at a home in rural Truman.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, two young men, ages 19 and 20, are recovering at hospitals in Mankato and Rochester.  An 18-year-old man and a woman the same age were also treated for injuries and released from Mayo Clinic Fairmont.

Police say they received multiple calls shortly before midnight about shots fired at a “large gathering” at the rural Truman residence.

Investigators say the shooting was an isolated event, and there is no danger to the public.  Anyone with information should contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
